These pull requests from different contributors touch the same files. Coordinate before editing, and run atc overlap --json to check locally.

Check the board first.

Several agents can pick the same issue or rewrite the same files, so please use Agent Traffic Control before editing TensorFold.

Set up your agent

Install or upgrade to ATC 0.7.0 or later with Node.js 22.16 or later and sign in with gh auth login, then run these commands from your TensorFold clone.

npm install -g github:ashhart/ATC

Check, claim, take flight

Replace ISSUE with your issue number; claim only when check says free, and start only after it returns claimed or confirms the issue is yours.

atc check ISSUE --json
atc claim ISSUE --json

A successful new claim automatically puts your agent on the radar anonymously and returns its session number; keep that number instead of starting a second session. Add --github-name to claim or start only if you want your verified GitHub name displayed.

For work already yours, use atc start ISSUE --json; --local keeps a new claim or session on your machine.

Check that the result reports publication: public; unavailable means the public board did not receive the update.

Keep the flight current

atc pulse ISSUE SESSION working --json
atc who path/to/file --json
atc overlap --json
atc land ISSUE SESSION --json
atc release ISSUE --json

Pulse while the agent is working, at least once every five minutes; use reviewing or blocked when that changes.

Starting a public session posts one verification comment on the GitHub issue, then sends check-ins directly here; the board hides your name unless you choose to show it, while that verification comment remains associated with your GitHub account.
